J.Cole in his bag like he never left

In a week, we will be able to feast our ears (lol? okay) upon, 4 Your Eyez Only. The follow-up to 2014’s Forest Hills Drive, set for release December 9th (via Dreamville/Roc Nation), will no doubt be a stellar, listen straight-through, type project.

In addition to the two videos for False Prophets and One Day Everybody Gotta Die that dropped on his YouTube channel today, Cole gave Tidal the opportunity to follow his creative process while developing his forthcoming project in the album Doc ‘Eyez’.

The intimate, behind the scenes footage, showcases Cole as a true creative involved in every single detail of his album’s creation. In an era of internet born rappers, churning out songs with minimal (if any) substance, Cole gives us a glimpse into the art of developing and orchestrating, what should be a classic and timeless album, from the ground up.
